It’s The Bare Naked D8 GTO Review
The new Batman vs Superman trailer missed a trick. This should have been there. Superhero fans meet the Donkervoort D8 GTO Bare Naked Carbon Edition.
Fun but it could be the day – and we suspect that many of you come to this story will be very disappointed – special edition carbon fiber is as Batman as you can get.
It is the first GTO D8 – the Dutch version of a steroid Caterham – built entirely in carbon fiber, inside and out. It was a long cherished goal of Donkervoort, told us that the complete construction of one of two star track seats, bare naked stuff.

Carbon components are developed and produced in the company: tubular frame, panels, seats, door panels, window frames, instrument panel and door frames. The roll-bar housing cut ignition cylinder, and housing of the headlights are made of carbon fiber.
It is either a matte or gloss UV finish that is all visible carbon fiber Bare Naked is completed. And Donkervoort explains, because there is color, there is a saving of several kilograms. The GTO “Standard” weighs about 700 kg.
The GTO is still driven by Audi 2.5 liter five-cylinder TFSI, which between 340bhp and 380bhp, depending on the specifications.
Although there are no power values this Bare Naked Edition, the 380bhp not naked Sprint GTO 0-62 mph in 2.8 seconds 0-124mph in 8.6s, and given to a top speed of 168 mph.
