The ZLI Camaro remains one of the most powerful Chevrolets money can buy. Its powerful 6.2 litre engine provides enough punch to keep it ahead of most sports cars.

The convertible version of the ZL1 one not only has the same engine it also comes with similar design characteristics. With an open top roof fitted drivers can now enjoy an open top experience. The soft-top version of the Camaro ZL1 Coupe is motivated by a supercharged V8 6.2-liter engine that can deliver 580 hp (432 kW / 588 PS) and 556 lb.-ft. (752 Nm) of torque. The Camaro ZL1 Convertible needs 4 seconds to do the 0-60 mph sprint en route to a top speed of 296 km/h. Married to the engine is a Hydra-Matic 6L90 six-speed automatic transmission. There transmission also comes with three programmable modes.

There is Drive, Sport and Manual, depending on the driver’s preference at the time. “Drive” is calibrated for optimal fuel economy, which even includes second-gear starts, along with smoother shifting points for comfort. This is for drivers simply looking to get from point A to point B without any fear of going past set road limits while gaining rewarding fuel economy. “Sport” is, as expected, a sport-minded setup that makes use of faster, tighter shift points and a tendency to hold gears longer for optimal power. The final mode, “Manual,” takes away any automatic upshifts, adds staged upshifts when demanded and puts all focus on performance at the cost of comfort and economy.

The cabin is dressed up with a sueded microfiber-accented instrument panel and an available (and highly recommended) sueded microfiber wrap on the special flat-bottom steering wheel and shifter.
