If the is a car that has shaped the motoring industry in Kenya it has to be the Peugeot 5 series.
The 504 has from the 1960’s to date ferried government officials to conduct their duties.
This is because the 504’s power and agility can be compared to modern cars. The 504 was also a favourite in the transport industry.

I remember when I was young my parents preferred to travel with the 504 estate. It spacious interior and eight seats brought a new way of travel in Kenya; shuttle services.

They were fast, easy to maintain and attracted less attention from the police. The same police also loved the 504 so much that The CID department garage can verify this.

The 504 was the most successful car Peugeot made after the Peugeot 206. The faster 505 replaced the 504.

Peugeot success in Kenya and the world has been on the downfall as most of its models like the recent four series, three series and two series have not made such an impact as the old school five series models. With this in mind Peugeot, engineers have recently launched the new 508.
The Peugeot 508 is a modern, forward-looking vehicle, perfectly attuned to the aspirations of customers who have moved with the times.

Under the bonnet, it has a new 2.2 litre, six speed automatic engine that produces 204 bhp. It also incorporates a new engine HDI (hybrid diesel injection) which has a front mounted diesel engine and a rear electrical motor. Fuel consumption is an average of 4.2 litres/100 km.

For the SW model the boot opens automatically at the touch of a button. Touch another button and the seats fold to allow for more storage space. The boot can also accommodate two smaller seats for an extra two passengers.
