Audi’s A7 gives owners an opportunity to enjoy a car with the sporty elegance of a coupe, the comfort of a sedan and the practicality of a station wagon. Audi have decided to add a fourth statement to that line; has the power of a sports car.
The fourth statement is possible thanks to the introduction of the Audi S7 Sportsback. Stand it next to a normal A7 and you will easily sport the difference between the two.

The S7 Sportsback has restyled front grill which features a single frame grill design found in most S Audi models. It also has restyled front bumper, front air intakes, and front air splitter, rear diffuser and tailpipes.

It also decorated with S and V8 T badges that help differentiate it even more to the A7. Stylish xenon plus headlights with LED daytime running lights are fitted as standard.

Key A7 designs like the long engine hood, the long wheelbase and the short overhangs remain intact as well as the low coupe like roof. A rear spoiler located in the boot automatically extends at 130 km/h and retracts again at 80 km/h.

Under the bonnet is a 4.0 TFSI (Turbo Fuel Stratified Injection) engine. The 4.0 litre twin-turbo V8 engine generates 420hp and 550 Nm of torque. 0 to 100km/h takes 4.9 seconds while top speed is limited to 250km/h.

The engine needs around 9.7 litres of fuel to cover 100km. The engine is married to a dynamic seven-speed S tronic automatic transmission. Quattro permanent all-wheel drive system with a self-locking center differential and torque vectoring manages power on the four wheels. The S7 rides on large 19-inch wheels. Behind the large rims are large, internally ventilated disc brakes fitted to both the front and rear wheels.

An adaptive sports air suspension works together with Audi drive select dynamics to allow the driver adjust the suspension to the desired settings. One can also order the S7 with dynamic steering and stylish 20-inch wheels.

Its outer sporty looks are reflected well inside. It has numerous S badges located on the illuminated door sill trims, the aluminum strip on the S tronic selector lever and the aluminum shift paddles. The footrest and pedals are made of stainless steel while MMI (Multi Media Interface) control buttons have an aluminium finish.

The driver seats on S sports seats that have electronic adjustment and lumbar supports. Comfort seats and regular seats are available as options. The backrests of the S sport seats are embossed with S logos. A host of optional interior trims are available. There is standard aluminum, carbon, natural fine grain ash and layered Beaufort oak.

Standard seat upholstery is a combination of Pearl Nappa leather and Alcantara, with the leather grades Milano and Valcona available as options. Entertainment is taken care of by the MMI radio plus audio and operating system.

This comes with an 8-inch touchscreen monitor that displays navigation maps. One can also order the S7 with a Bang & Olufsen featuring 1,300 watts of power and 15 speakers. It also comes with similar safety system and driver aids found in the A7.
