VW is celebrating the 10th anniversary of the top of the range SUV the Touareg. To make its amazing milestone VW have introduced a commemorative version called the Touareg Edition X.

The new Touareg will have a host of equipment that will make it stand out from the current VW Touareg model. It will ride on stylish 19-incg Moab alloy wheels and will be finished in Moonlight Blue Pearl Effect paint. The paintwork will be available to customers as an option. Other cool stuff includes a large panoramic slide/tilt sunroof plus stylish silver anodized roof rails. At the front its will come with powerful bi-xenon complete with daytime running LED lights. The Led are housed in dark cluster while the front grill is finished in chrome.

LED lights also adorn the rear and just like the front lights are fitted inside a dark cluster. Chrome touches are visible on the side door panels, front air intakes, rear boot, around the windows and the stylish trapezoidal tailpipes. The rear window and rear door windows are also tinted to offer the best privacy to all occupants. ‘Touareg X’ logos are also fitted to the front wing to let whole world know of its uniqueness.

Married to all the engines is all new 8 speed automatic gear box. It replaces the slow shifting 6 speed automatic in the previous model. The advantage of an 8 speed gear box is that the engine can operate more efficiently as it has more gears to ‘play’ with. The top speed can be reached easily thanks to two more extra gear ratios in the gearbox.

The front door has illuminated door sills with ‘Touareg X’ lettering. The interior is further enhanced with coordinated decorative stitching on the leather steering wheel, gear level and also on the special edition fabric floor mats.
