DESIGN
Although it still bears the same coupe like shape presents in all previous 911s the designers at Porsche have incorporated new, exciting contours and precisely designed details that give the new 911 an amazing shape. The front design consists of huge air intakes that channel cool air to the radiators located at the front.

Under the intakes is an air splitter that ensures smooth flow of air under its wide wheel base. At each intake are LED integrated fog lights that give it an even more aggressive character. At each side of the wide-arched wings is the trademark round bi-xenon headlamps.

At the side, the redesigned exterior mirrors are now mounted on the upper edge of the door and not as before on the mirror triangle. The redesigned exterior mirrors help channel air around the vehicle. They also help boost the new design line and visual impression of width.

At the back is the trademark spoiler that rises up at certain speeds. The trademark air outlets are located at the top of the now is it boot or bonnet? OK all you need to know is that they ensure the engine is running efficiently.

Below the outlets are the newly redesigned triangular shaped rear lights consisting of numerous LEDs. I believe Porsche engineers made them that cool as they knew that the rear will be much visible most of the time. Under the twin triangles are oval shaped exhaust pipes.

The Carrera S comes fitted with 20-inch alloy wheels which are available as an option to the standard Carrera.

This will take it from 0 to 100km/h in just 4.6 second. If one orders the 911with the optional with the Chrono Pack the time is slashed to 4.4 sec.  The powerful Carrera 911 S version has a 3.8 liter direct injection flat-six engine that gives out 400hp.

Although it’s not as huge at its name it does an important job of ensuring no power is lost when changing gear. It also boost fuel efficiency as less fuel will be required to accelerate. The Carrera S come fitted with Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) and Porsche Torque Vectoring (PTV) with rear limited slip differential.
INTERIOR
The interior consists of hand stitched leather from the finest European cows. The leather covers the dash, the seats and the multifunctional steering wheel. A stylish clock sits on the top of the dash giving the 911 a luxury appeal. At the middle of cockpit is a multifunctional 7 inch screen. The screen acts as the navigation system and the entertainment unit.
Cockpit
The driver is now even more closely integrated with the cockpit. This is thanks to the raised centre console and the high-mounted shift lever. They are both located close to the steering wheel in typical motorsport fashion.

The electric control sports seats provide much needed comfort even on long journeys. It also comes fitted with automatic climate control system and a huge stereo with MP3 integration.  The extra with provides even more room for two more occupants at the rear seat.
